Chiller Hot Gas Bypass
Chiller Hot Gas Bypass is a process of circulating hot gas around chillers and other refrigeration systems in order to reduce the chiller load and maximize efficiency. By diverting the hot gas away from the compressor, the temperature and pressure are lowered in the system, leading to increased efficiency and cool temperatures. The Hot Gas Bypass is used to adjust how much fluid is diverted through the condenser and how much flows back to the evaporator, allowing users to precisely control their chilling applications.
