Our BMS Engineers

As a BMS Controls Specialist company we employ experienced software, project and maintenance engineers (sometimes known as a BAS Engineer (Building Automation Engineer), Building Energy Management System Engineer (BEMS), Heating Controls Engineer or a Building Automation Engineer) that have carried out numerous Trend, Priva and Tridium projects throughout the country. We have also employed both project and maintenance sales engineers from the HVAC perspective.

All of our trained BMS engineers are manufacturer trained.

About Our Engineers

  • Our trained BMS engineers are manufacturer trained.
  • On-site customer engineers/representatives that proactively contact BMS controls to request that the bureau engineer remotely “drive” the installed BMS system to assist other on-site tasks.
  • Technical Excellence – From preliminary energy surveys to comprehensive detailed site or portfolio studies, our engineers have a sound technical background, qualifications and experience, which means we can provide the best advice in any application.

Products We Use

We use a variety of BMS manufacturers including: Trend, Honeywell, Tridium, Satchwell, Siemens, TAC, Cylon, PrivaJohnson Controls

BMS Engineering Services

Manufacturer Trained

All of our engineers are manufacturer trained and can work with almost any product including Trend, Cylon, Priva and Satchwell.

FAQ's

Building management system (BMS) engineers are in charge of designing, developing, and maintaining the software that runs a building’s mechanical and electrical systems. A BMS engineer must have a strong understanding of computer science and engineering principles, as well as experience with specific BMS software, such as HoneywellTridium or Johnson Controls Metasys. The role of a BMS engineer is to ensure that a building’s systems are running smoothly and efficiently. In order to do this, they must constantly monitor the system for any errors or potential issues. They also work with other engineers to develop new features or updates for the system.

Building Management Systems (BMS) are computer-based systems that control and monitor the mechanical and electrical equipment in buildings. BMS Engineers are responsible for designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining these systems.

Building Management Systems can be used to control a wide variety of equipment including air conditioning, lighting, ventilation, security and fire systems. They are often used in large commercial buildings such as office blocks, shopping centres and hospitals.

BMS Engineers work closely with other members of the building services team to ensure that the system meets the needs of the occupants and the owner of the building. They also liaise with suppliers of BMS equipment to keep up to date with new products and developments.

As a BMS engineer, your primary responsibility is to design, install, operate and maintain building management systems (BMS). A BMS is a computer-based system that monitors and controls the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting systems in a building.

In order to do your job effectively, you must have a strong understanding of how these systems work and be able to troubleshoot any problems that may arise. You will also need to be familiar with the various types of BMS software and hardware available on the market.

In addition to your technical knowledge, you must also have good communication skills and be able to work well with other members of the building staff, such as the maintenance team. As the BMS engineer, you will be the one responsible for ensuring that the system is running smoothly and that all users are able to access it easily.

A Building Energy Management System (BEMS) Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of building energy management systems. They work with architects and engineers to ensure that the system meets the needs of the occupants and the environment. BEMS Engineers must be well-versed in building science and energy conservation principles.

A BEMS engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of building management systems. These systems are used to control and monitor the mechanical and electrical systems in a building, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, security, and fire safety. BEMS engineers work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that the system meets the needs of the occupants and the owner.

There are many different types of building management systems (BMS) out there, and our engineers are trained to work with all of them. We can help you design, install, and maintain a system that will meet all of your needs and help you run your business more efficiently.
