Indoor Fire Sprinklers
Indoor fire sprinklers are an essential component of building safety systems designed to help contain and extinguish fires. In simple terms, fire sprinklers are a network of pipes that are connected to water storage tanks or separate mains and outfitted with automated sprinkler heads in strategic locations throughout the building. When fire is detected by a heat-sensitive device, the sprinkler head activates and dispenses water onto the area where the fire is. This helps contain and extinguish the flames, reducing the risk of injury and damage. By controlling the spread of fire and smoke, indoor fire sprinklers can give occupants more time to safely exit a building before damage becomes catastrophic.
