Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB)

Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB): A building that produces and uses the same amount of energy each year, also known as a “zero-energy building.” NZEBs use renewable resources like solar, wind, and geothermal to produce the energy they need while also utilizing insulation, efficient appliances, and natural ventilation strategies to reduce energy consumption. This is an ideal way for facilities managers to make their buildings more sustainable and environmentally conscious.
