Network Time Protocol (Ntp)
Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a network protocol that enables computers to synchronize their clocks over a network. NTP uses the UDP protocol and can be used to synchronize clocks on computers running a variety of operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, and Microsoft Windows. NTP can be used to synchronize clocks on computers in different time zones and can also be used to synchronized clocks across different types of networks, such as the Internet.
