Power Over Ethernet (Poe)
A power over ethernet system, or Poe, is a type of networked control system that uses an Ethernet cable to deliver both data and power to devices on the network. This provides a more reliable and easier to install solution than using separate power and data cables. A Poe system typically consists of a central controller connected to devices on the network via Ethernet cable. The controller manages the power delivery to each device and can also collect data from sensors or other devices connected to the network.
