Velocity Pressure

Velocity Pressure

A velocity pressure is a type of pressure that occurs in a moving fluid. It is caused by the fluid’s motion and is measured in units of force per unit area. The velocity pressure is highest at the points where the fluid’s velocity is highest, and lowest where the fluid’s velocity is lowest. In a building management system, the velocity pressure is used to control the movement of air within the building. By controlling the amount of pressure in the air, the BMS can control the flow of air through the building and regulate the temperature inside the buildings.
