Absorption Chillers

Absorption chillers are a type of cooling system that uses a combination of heat and a chemical absorbent to produce cooling. This type of system is often used in commercial and industrial applications where large amounts of cooling are needed. The process works by using a refrigerant, such as ammonia, to absorb heat from the air or water. This heat is then transferred to a chemical absorbent, such as lithium bromide, which absorbs the heat and releases it as a coolant. The coolant is then circulated through the system, cooling the air or water as it passes through. The absorbent is then recharged with heat, allowing the cycle to continue. This type of system is highly efficient and cost-effective, making it an attractive option for many businesses.
