Access Control System

An access control system is a system that is used to control access to certain areas or resources. It is typically used to protect physical assets, such as buildings, rooms, and other physical locations, as well as digital assets, such as networks, databases, and other computer systems. Access control systems are used to limit access to authorized personnel only, and to ensure that those who do have access are only able to access the areas or resources that they are authorized to access. Access control systems can be as simple as a keypad entry system or as complex as a biometric system. In either case, the access control system is designed to ensure that only those who are authorized to access a certain area or resource are able to do so.
