Boiler Types

A boiler is a closed vessel in which water or other fluid is heated. Boilers are used in a variety of applications including space heating, industrial processes, and power generation. Boilers are typically fueled by natural gas, oil, or electricity. The most common type of boiler is the fire-tube boiler, which is used in residential and commercial buildings. This type of boiler consists of a cylindrical shell with a series of tubes running through it. Hot gases from a fuel source, such as natural gas, oil, or electricity, are passed through the tubes, which heat the water inside the boiler. The heated water is then circulated throughout the building or process to provide heat. Another type of boiler is the water-tube boiler, which is used in industrial applications. This type of boiler consists of a series of tubes that are surrounded by water. The tubes are heated by a fuel source, such as natural gas, oil, or electricity, and the heated water is circulated throughout the system. Boilers are an essential part of many industrial processes and can be used to generate steam, hot water, and other forms of energy.
