Butterfly Valves

A butterfly valve is a type of flow control device used in many industrial applications. It is a quarter-turn valve that is used to regulate the flow of liquids and gases. The valve consists of a circular disc or plate that is mounted in the center of a pipe or duct. The disc is connected to a stem, which is operated by a handle or lever. When the handle is turned, the disc is rotated, allowing for the flow of the material to be adjusted. Butterfly valves are known for their simple design, low cost, and ease of installation. They are also used in many applications where a tight shut-off is not required. The valve is able to provide a wide range of flow control, from full open to full close. Butterfly valves are also known for their durability and reliability, making them an ideal choice for many industrial applications.
