Chilled Beams

Chilled beams are a type of HVAC system that uses convection currents to circulate air throughout a space. The system works by drawing in air from the outside, cooling it down, and then using fans to push the air through a series of pipes. The pipes are connected to a chilled beam, which is a metal or plastic panel that is cooled down to a specific temperature. The air then passes through the chilled beam, where it is cooled further, before being pushed out into the room. The cooled air then circulates throughout the space, creating a comfortable environment. Chilled beams are a great way to save energy, as they use less energy than traditional HVAC systems. They are also much quieter than traditional systems, making them ideal for use in offices and other quiet spaces.
