A fan coil unit (FCU), also known as a Fan-Assisted Coil Unit, is a type of heating and/or cooling device typically used in offices, hotels, and other large buildings. FCUs work by circulating air through a series of coils, which are heated or cooled as needed to maintain the desired temperature in the space.
FCUs are often controlled by a Building Management System (BMS), which monitors and adjusts the temperature in the space based on present parameters. This allows for greater efficiency and comfort in the space, as well as reduced energy costs.
