A fan coil unit (FCU), also known as a Fan Terminal Unit (FTU) in European countries, is a device containing a fan and a heat exchanger. The FCU is often used to cool or heat rooms in office buildings, hotels, or other large facilities. The FCU blows air over a heat exchanger to either warm or cool the room.
