Fire Sprinkler Identification Signs, also known as “fire sprinkler markers”, are signs used to identify the location of fire sprinklers in a building or facility. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), all fire sprinklers must be marked with a sign that is clearly visible and easily identified from a distance. These signs must include the words “sprinkler” or “fire sprinkler” and must have a contrasting background color in order to stand out. Additionally, they should be placed at eye level, within 5 feet of the valve, and should remain in place even if the hazard is removed.
