Fire Sprinkler Identification Signs

Fire Sprinkler Identification Signs, also known as “fire sprinkler markers”, are signs used to identify the location of fire sprinklers in a building or facility. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), all fire sprinklers must be marked with a sign that is clearly visible and easily identified from a distance. These signs must include the words “sprinkler” or “fire sprinkler” and must have a contrasting background color in order to stand out. Additionally, they should be placed at eye level, within 5 feet of the valve, and should remain in place even if the hazard is removed. Fire sprinkler identification signs provide an important reminder to take extra caution when performing maintenance tasks near these areas.
