Fmea Table

A FMEA Table is a tool used in risk management and quality control that stands for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. It is a systematic approach to identifying potential failures and their effects on a process or product. The FMEA Table is used to assess the risk associated with each potential failure mode and prioritize actions to reduce or eliminate the risk. The FMEA Table is composed of three columns: Failure Mode, Potential Effects, and Risk Priority Number (RPN). The Failure Mode column identifies the possible failure mode, the Potential Effects column describes the potential consequences of the failure, and the Risk Priority Number column assigns a numerical value to the risk associated with the failure mode. The RPN is calculated by multiplying the severity, occurrence, and detection ratings for each failure mode. The higher the RPN, the higher the risk associated with the failure mode and the more urgent the corrective action should be. By using the FMEA Table, organizations can identify potential risks and prioritize corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the risk.
