Freeze Stat is a business term designed to help organizations manage and track operations when unexpected events occur. It is an acronym for ‘Freeze Status’ which is the state of operational activity that is stopped temporarily in order to review and analyze systems, processes and procedures. When a critical incident or disruption takes place an organization can enact a Freeze Stat so that workers throughout the organization know immediately that operations should decrease or cease until further notice.
