Humidistats

A humidistat is a device that measures and regulates the humidity in a given area. It is typically used in air conditioning systems, but can also be used in other applications such as greenhouses and cigar humidors. The humidistat works by measuring the relative humidity in the air and then triggering a response when the humidity level reaches a certain threshold. For example, when the humidity level reaches a certain level, the humidistat can turn on a fan or dehumidifier to reduce the humidity in the area. The humidistat can also be used to turn on a humidifier to increase the humidity in the area. By using a humidistat, you can maintain the desired humidity level in a given area, which can help to reduce the risk of mold and mildew growth, as well as reduce the risk of respiratory illnesses caused by dry air.
