Hvac Vav Boxes

A HVAC VAV Box is a type of air-handling unit that is used to control the temperature and air quality in a building. It is an important component of any HVAC system, as it helps to regulate the air flow in the building and ensure that the air is of a consistent temperature. A VAV Box is composed of several components, including a damper, a motor, and a controller. The damper is responsible for controlling the air flow in the building, while the motor is responsible for controlling the speed of the damper. The controller is responsible for managing the operation of the VAV Box, including setting the desired temperature and air quality levels. The VAV Box is connected to the building’s HVAC system, allowing it to receive signals from the system and adjust the air flow accordingly. By controlling the air flow, the VAV Box helps to maintain a comfortable environment in the building, while also helping to reduce energy costs.
