Occupancy Sensor Light

What is the definition of an occupancy sensor light? This is a type of light fixture or switch that automatically turns on when it senses the presence of someone in the room. It is typically used in commercial and industrial buildings, as well as in some residential areas. It is often used for energy conservation and safety purposes, as it reduces the amount of energy wasted by leaving lights on when no one is present. The sensor utilizes passive infrared (PIR) technology, which is triggered when an individual enters the space and the infrared signal is detected by the sensor. This triggers the light to automatically turn on and illuminate the area. They can be manually programmed to adjust the time they stay on, or they can be set to turn off after a certain period of time. In addition to saving energy, occupancy sensor lights also provide convenience and safety, as they can help to ensure that the space is properly lit when needed.
