Package Hvac Unit

What is the definition of a package HVAC unit? A package HVAC unit is a type of air-conditioning and heating system that is typically self-contained and is used in residential or commercial buildings. This type of system is typically installed on the roof or outside of a building and delivers conditioned air to the interior of the structure through a series of ducts. Package HVAC units are generally composed of a compressor, condenser, evaporator coil, and other components all connected together. These systems are typically used in climates with moderate temperatures and are capable of cooling and heating the air to desired temperatures. They are also typically the most cost effective option when compared to other types of HVAC systems. Package HVAC units are designed to be self-contained, meaning that all of the components are all connected together. This type of system does not require any external components to be installed, and all of the components are usually installed within the unit itself.
