Rtu’S

A Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) is a device used in industrial automation and control systems. It is used to monitor and control various remote equipment and systems, such as sensors, valves, pumps, motors, and other industrial equipment. RTUs are typically connected to a central control system, such as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. RTUs are used to collect data from remote locations, and then transmit that data back to the central control system. This data can then be used to control and monitor the various equipment and systems in the remote location. RTUs are often used in industries such as oil and gas, water and wastewater, power generation, and manufacturing. They are also used in military and aerospace applications. RTUs are designed to be rugged and reliable, and are often used in harsh environments. They are typically equipped with various communication protocols, such as Ethernet, Modbus, and Profibus, which allow them to communicate with the central control system.
