Single Pole Double Throw (Spdt)
Single Pole Double Throw (Spdt)
A single pole double throw (SPDT) switch is a type of electrical switch that can be used to select between two different circuits. It is often used in electronic devices such as computers, where it can be used to turn on or off different components.
The SPDT switch has three terminals, and the middle terminal is usually connected to the common terminal. The other two terminals are called the normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) terminals. When the switch is in the OFF position, the NC terminal is connected to the common terminal, and when the switch is in the ON position, the NO terminal is connected to the common terminal.
