Smoke Control Systems

A smoke contcontrol system is a system designed to protect a building and its occupants from the dangers of smoke inhalation and fire. It is an important component of any fire safety plan and is designed to limit the spread of smoke and fire throughout a building. Smoke control systems work by providing a means of controlling the flow of smoke, either by providing a physical barrier or by controlling the ventilation of the building. The system may also be used to provide early warning of a fire, by triggering an alarm system. Smoke control systems can be manual or automated, and may be designed to work in conjunction with other fire safety systems, such as sprinkler systems. In order to be effective, smoke control systems must be properly maintained and tested regularly to ensure they are functioning properly.
