Thermostat.

A thermostat is an instrument used to regulate temperatures, either manually or automatically. It typically consists of a temperature sensor, a heating and/or cooling element and an adjustable control setting. Thermostats are widely used in multiple commercial and industrial applications, such as for controlling the temperature of warehouses, offices, factories, etc. They are also used in residential settings to regulate the operation of HVAC systems.
