Zone Valve

A zone valve is a mechanical device used to control the flow of water in hydronic heating systems. It is installed in the piping between the water heater and the heating elements, and is typically used to control the flow of hot water to different parts of the house. The valve is operated by a thermostat, which senses the temperature of the area around it and sends a signal to the valve to open or close accordingly. When the desired temperature is reached, the thermostat will send a signal to the valve to close, cutting off the hot water flow. The valve will remain closed until the thermostat senses that the area is too cold, at which point the thermostat will send a signal to the valve to open and allow hot water to flow through the piping. This is how zone valves are used to accurately control the temperature of different areas in a home. In addition to controlling the flow of hot water, zone valves can also be used to control the flow of cold
