Outside Air Temperature Sensor Hvac

The outside air temperature sensor, or OAT sensor, is an important component of any HVAC system. This device is used to measure the external temperature in order to ensure the HVAC system is running at optimal efficiency. The OAT sensor is typically located outside the building, on the roof or near the air intake grill. The sensor measures the air temperature and sends a signal to the HVAC system, which then adjusts its operations accordingly. OAT sensors can be used to control the temperature of the air entering the building, as well as the rate at which the air is delivered. This helps ensure that the building is kept at a comfortable temperature and that the HVAC system is working as efficiently as possible. By monitoring the outside air temperature, the system can also adjust the level of cooling or heating as needed. In essence, the OAT sensor helps ensure that the occupants of the building are able to enjoy optimal comfort.
