40 Ton Chiller

A 40 ton chiller is a type of cooling system that is used to cool large buildings or areas. It is typically used in commercial or industrial settings, such as factories, warehouses, or large office buildings. The chiller works by taking in warm air from the building and cooling it down to a desired temperature. This is done by using a compressor, condenser, and evaporator. The compressor compresses the refrigerant gas, which is then cooled by the condenser. The cooled refrigerant is then sent to the evaporator, where it is further cooled and then sent back to the compressor to be reused. The cooling process is repeated until the desired temperature is reached. The 40 ton designation refers to the amount of cooling that the chiller can provide, which is typically measured in tons of refrigeration. In other words, a 40 ton chiller can provide 40 tons of cooling capacity.
