BMS Controls Glossary

Availability

The definition of availability is the ability of a system, service, or resource to be accessed and used by a user. It is a measure of how reliable a system is, and how quickly it can be accessed and used. Availability is an important factor when considering the overall performance of a system. It is important to ensure that the system is available when needed, and that it can be accessed quickly and easily. Availability also takes into account the speed of the system, as well as the amount of downtime that may occur. If a system is not available when needed, or if it takes too long to access, then it can have a negative impact on the user experience. Availability is also important for ensuring that data is secure and protected, as well as ensuring that the system is able to handle any unexpected events.
