Binary Input (Bi)

A binary input (Bi) is a device or point within a building management system (BMS) that can be in one of two states: on or off. A Bi can represent anything from a simple switch to a more complex sensor. The state of a Bi can be used to trigger actions within the BMS, such as turning on a light or opening a door.
