BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method): A sustainability assessment method for buildings that helps evaluate and improve a building’s environmental performance. BREEAM evaluates parameters such as energy use, water consumption, waste disposal, and other sustainable practices in order to assign the building an overall rating from Excellent to Poor.
