Broadcast Definition Table (Bdt)

Broadcast Definition Table (Bdt)

A Broadcast Definition Table (Bdt) is a table that defines how data is to be broadcast. It is used by nodes in a network to determine which data should be sent to which other nodes.

A Bdt consists of four fields: Destination, Mask, Gateway, and Priority.

The Destination field specifies the address of the node to which the data should be sent. The Mask field specifies the portion of the address that should be used to match against the destination address. The Gateway field specifies the address of the node that should forwarding the data if it is not destined for the local node. The Priority field specifies the priority of the data.

Data with a higher priority will be sent before data with a lower priority. Data with the same priority will be sent in round-robin order.
