Calculating Oee

The definition of a calculating OEE<OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is a metric used to measure the overall performance of a manufacturing process. It is a measure of how well a manufacturing process is performing, taking into account factors such as availability, performance, and quality. OEE is calculated by taking the product of three factors: availability, performance, and quality. Availability is a measure of how often the equipment is available for use. Performance is a measure of how well the equipment is running. Quality is a measure of how well the product is meeting customer requirements. By taking the product of these three factors, a company can get an overall measure of how well their manufacturing process is performing. OEE is a great tool for companies to use to identify areas of improvement and increase efficiency. It can also be used to compare performance between different manufacturing processes and identify which process is the most efficient.
