BMS Controls Glossary

Central Air Control

The definition of a central air control is a system that is used to regulate the temperature of a building or home. It is typically comprised of a thermostat, an air handler, and a condenser. The thermostat is used to set the desired temperature of the building or home, and the air handler and condenser work together to cool or heat the air to meet the desired temperature. The air handler is responsible for circulating the air throughout the building or home, while the condenser is responsible for cooling or heating the air. Central air control systems are highly efficient and can save energy costs over time. They are also very convenient, as they can be set to maintain a certain temperature throughout the day and night, and can be adjusted to fit the needs of the occupants.
