Cooling Coils

Cooling coils are an important component of any HVAC system, as they are responsible for regulating the temperature of the air within a building. They are typically made up of copper or aluminum tubing that is wound around a core of finned material, such as aluminum or steel. This finned material helps to increase the surface area of the coil, allowing it to absorb more heat from the air passing through it. The heat is then transferred to the refrigerant within the coil, which cools the air before it is distributed throughout the building. Cooling coils are essential for maintaining comfortable temperatures within a building, and can be found in a variety of sizes and shapes to suit different applications.
