Corrective Maintenance

Corrective maintenance is a type of maintenance that is performed to fix or correct a problem that has already occurred. It is a reactive approach to maintenance, as opposed to preventive maintenance, which is proactive. Corrective maintenance is often used when an unexpected failure occurs, or when a system or piece of equipment is not functioning correctly. This type of maintenance is typically done by a technician or engineer, and involves troubleshooting the issue, replacing faulty parts, and testing the system or equipment to ensure it is functioning properly. Corrective maintenance can be costly, as it often requires more time and resources than preventive maintenance. However, it is an important part of any maintenance plan, as it helps to ensure that systems and equipment are running correctly and safely.
