Environmental Control Systems

Environmental Control Systems (ECS) are systems that help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for occupants of a building. They are used to control the temperature, humidity, air quality, and ventilation of a space. ECS are also used to monitor and control energy usage, helping to reduce energy costs and environmental impact. The components of an ECS include sensors, controllers, and actuators. Sensors measure environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and air quality. Controllers use the data from the sensors to adjust the settings of the actuators, which are the devices that actually control the environment. For example, an actuator might be a thermostat that adjusts the temperature of a room. ECS are essential for creating a safe and comfortable environment in any building, and they are becoming increasingly important as the world moves towards more sustainable practices.
