Fire Alarm

A fire alarm is a warning system used to detect smoke, flames or other signs of an impending fire. It’s our early warning system that gives us precious moments to quickly escape or prepare to fight the fire if necessary. Fire alarm systems are designed to alert people that there may be a potential fire hazard and provide the necessary protection for property and lives. The official business definition of a fire alarm states that it is: “an audible or visual warning device designed to alert personnel in the vicinity of a fire so that they can take prompt action to protect against injury or damage as required.” It’s a crucial part of any building’s fire prevention plan, and plays an important role in keeping people safe from the dangers of fires.
