Linear Hvac

The definition of a linear HVACHVAC system is a type of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system that utilizes a linear air handler to distribute conditioned air throughout a space. This type of system is typically used in larger commercial buildings, as it is more efficient than traditional HVAC systems. The linear air handler is a long, narrow unit that is mounted to the ceiling or wall and contains a fan, filter, and heating and coolcooling coils. The fan is used to draw in air from the space, which is then passed through the filter to remove any dust or other contaminants. The air is then heated or cooled by the coils before being distributed throughout the space. Linear HVACHVAC systems are more efficient than traditional systems because they are able to evenly distribute air throughout the space, reducing the need for multiple air handlers. Additionally, linear HVACHVAC systems are easier to maintain and require less energy to operate.
