Maintenance Repair And Overhaul

Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) is a term used to describe the activities that are necessary to keep an item in working order. It is an umbrella term that encompasses all of the activities that are required to maintain, repair, and overhaul a product or system. This includes activities such as inspections, testing, troubleshooting, replacement of parts, and preventive maintenance. MRO is an important part of any product or system’s life cycle and is essential for keeping it running smoothly and efficiently. MRO activities can be divided into three main categories: preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and overhaul. Preventive maintenance is the process of regularly inspecting and testing a product or system to identify any potential problems and to take steps to prevent them from occurring. Corrective maintenance is the process of repairing any problems that have been identified, while overhaul is the process of completely replacing a product or system. MRO is an important part of any business and can help to ensure that products and systems are running at their best and are not prone to breakdowns or other issues.
