National Electrical Manufacturers Association (Nema)

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) is the trade association of the electrical equipment and medical imaging manufacturers in the United States. Founded in 1926, NEMA represents nearly 400 companies that produce products used in the generation, transmission, distribution, control, and end-use of electricity. These products include circuit breakers, transformers, cables, switches, meters, and batteries. NEMA’s members are organized into product sections that focus on specific technologies.
