Split Heat Pump System

A split heat pump system is a type of heating and cooling system that is becoming increasingly popular in both residential and commercial buildings. It is an energy-efficient alternative to traditional heating and cooling systems, as it uses a single outdoor unit to provide both heating and cooling to multiple indoor units. The split system is made up of two parts: an outdoor unit, which contains the compressor, condenser, and evaporator, and an indoor unit, which contains the fan and air handler. The outdoor unit is connected to the indoor unit via refrigerant lines, which allow the system to transfer heat from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. This heat transfer process is known as the refrigerant cycle, and it is the main process by which the split system operates. The split system is designed to be more efficient than traditional systems, as it only requires one outdoor unit to provide heating and cooling to multiple indoor units. Additionally, the split system can be used to provide both heating and cooling to a single room, or to multiple rooms in a home or office building.
