Split-System Air Conditioner

What is the definition of a split-system air conditioner? A split-system air conditioner is a type of air conditioning system that utilizes two main units, a condenser or compressor located outside of the building and an evaporator coil located inside of the building. This type of air conditioning system is known to be more energy efficient than other types of air conditioners because it reduces the amount of energy needed to move the same amount of air. It also helps to reduce energy costs because it allows different parts of the building to be cooled or heated independently. The condenser or compressor is responsible for cooling the refrigerant that is then pumped through the evaporator coil located inside the building. The evaporator coil is then responsible for cooling the air, which is then circulated throughout the building. The split-system air conditioner is a great choice for buildings that need to be cooled or heated independently and also for buildings that need a more efficient and cost-effective way to control the climate.
