Packaged Hvac Units

What is the definition of a packaged HVAC unit? A packaged HVAC unit is a self-contained unit that is used to provide heating, ventilation and air conditioning to a single enclosed space. This type of unit combines all the components of a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system into one easy-to-install unit. Packaged HVAC units are typically used in smaller buildings and homes, but they can also be used in larger structures such as commercial buildings. Packaged HVAC units contain all of the components required to heat and cool the space, including a furnace, air conditioner, motorized dampers, filters, coils and blowers.
