Dampers

A damper is a mechanical device used to control the flow of air in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. It is typically installed in the ductwork of a home or building to regulate the amount of air that is allowed to pass through. The damper can be adjusted to either open or close depending on the desired air flow. When open, the damper allows air to pass through the ducts and into the home or building. When closed, the damper restricts the flow of air, reducing the amount of air that is allowed to pass through. Dampers are used to regulate the temperature of a home or building, as well as to regulate the amount of air that is allowed to pass through the ducts. They are also used to control the amount of air that is allowed to enter the home or building from outside. Dampers are an important part of any HVAC system and can help to ensure that the air in a home or building is comfortable and healthy.
