Air Handling Unit

An air handling unit (AHU) is a device used to condition and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. An AHU consists of a fan, heating and/or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, dampers, and other components. It is typically used to control the temperature, humidity, and air quality in a building or space. AHUs are typically located in the basement, attic, or mechanical room of a building. They are used to bring in fresh air from outside, condition it, and then distribute it throughout the building. The AHU is also responsible for exhausting stale air from the building and replacing it with fresh air. The AHU is an essential component of any HVAC system, as it is responsible for providing a comfortable and healthy environment for occupants.
