Automated Building Controls

Automated building controls are systems that allow for the automated control of building systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and security. These systems are designed to improve the efficiency of a building’s operations, as well as the comfort and safety of its occupants. Automated building controls are composed of a variety of components, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and communication networks. Sensors detect changes in the environment, such as temperature, humidity, and occupancy, and send signals to the controller. The controller then processes the data and sends signals to the actuators, which are responsible for controlling the various building systems. The communication network allows for the controller to communicate with the actuators and the other components of the system. Automated building controls can be programmed to run on a schedule, or they can be set to respond to changes in the environment. By automating the control of building systems, automated building controls can help reduce energy consumption, improve comfort levels, and enhance safety.
