Building Automated System

A Building Automated System (BAS) is a computer-based control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, fire systems, and security systems. It is designed to improve the efficiency, comfort, and safety of the building’s occupants. The BAS is composed of several components, including controllers, input/output devices, and communication networks. The controllers are responsible for controlling the building’s equipment, while the input/output devices are used to monitor the building’s environment and collect data. The communication networks allow the BAS to communicate with other systems, such as the Internet, to provide real-time information about the building’s environment. The BAS can also be used to control the building’s energy consumption and reduce energy costs. By monitoring the building’s environment, the BAS can detect problems and take corrective action before they become serious. The BAS can also be used to control access to the building, as well as to monitor and control the building’s security systems. The BAS is an important part of any building’s infrastructure, as it helps to ensure the safety and comfort of the building’s occupants.
