Building Automation And Control

Building Automation and Control is a term used to describe the use of automated systems to control and monitor the operations of a building. These systems are designed to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for occupants while also helping to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. Building Automation and Control systems are typically comprised of a network of sensors, controllers, and actuators that are connected to a central control system. The sensors collect data from the environment and send it to the control system, which then uses the data to adjust the building’s systems accordingly. This could include adjusting the temperature, lighting, and ventilation systems, as well as monitoring the security of the building. The actuators then take the commands from the control system and physically adjust the building’s systems. Building Automation and Control systems are becoming increasingly popular as they provide a more efficient and cost-effective way to manage a building’s operations. They also provide a higher level of safety and security, as well as improved occupant comfort.
