Building Automation Systems Hvac

A Building Automation System (BAS) is a computer-based system that controls and monitors the operations of a building’s HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system. It is designed to optimize the efficiency of the building’s HVAC system, as well as reduce energy consumption and improve the comfort of the occupants. The BAS typically consists of sensors, controllers, and actuators that are connected to a central control system. The sensors measure the temperature, humidity, and other environmental conditions in the building, while the controllers are responsible for adjusting the HVAC system in response to the conditions. The actuators are responsible for controlling the motors and other components of the HVAC system. The BAS can be programmed to adjust the HVAC system in response to changes in the environment, such as when the temperature outside changes or when the occupancy of the building changes. The BAS can also be programmed to turn off the HVAC system when the building is unoccupied, thus saving energy. By using a Building Automation System, buildings can become more energy efficient and comfortable for their occupants.
